Love letter from God: Bible verses showing God’s love for you

You fall and make mistakes; you do things you regret. You know what it means to stand in the heat of temptation feeling rotten because of how strongly you are tempted by your lusts. You understand the feeling of dejection when you give in to temptation in a moment of weakness and when it feels like things could never be made right again. You might have felt at one point that God is angry with you. You might even have doubted that you have received forgiveness.

In those moments, it might be difficult to remember that God still loves you. It might even be hard for you to pray, to ask for help, in those times when you feel so ashamed because you see how wretched and weak you are.

But God knows you better than you know yourself. The fact that you sorrow over your sins and are determined to change is an honorable mindset that God loves. (Psalm 51:17) He is waiting for you to come to Him to get the help and power you need to overcome! (Hebrews 4:16)
