A testimony from Caleb
Caleb from England asked if we could publish his testimony, so here it is!
I am so thankful that my parents are Christians and that I have been brought up and looked after in a Christian home. I have also had the joy of going to BCC conferences at Brunstad in Norway as long as I can remember and have so many friends here in England, and all over the world. At my 30th birthday I received video messages and greetings from many friends. And loving exhortations to walk in the light of God’s word and be a blessing to others.
My Dad often quotes the verse in Micah 6:8; in his own words: “What does the Lord require from us, but to do what is right, that is to keep His commandments; to love mercy, which means being kind to one another in love; and to walk humbly with God.”
I was born into a large family. I have 7 brothers and 5 sisters. My parents have 41 grandchildren. Two families live abroad in Switzerland and Turkey and two families live in Didcot. The others live nearby. I work 3 days a week at the Canalside, which is our Church place, and where we hold and run conference events. My job at the Canalside is working in the kitchen making food for events and the Cafe.
At the weekend I spend time with my family and friends. I enjoy playing badminton and going for walks. I am also trying to learn Norwegian. I like to travel to visit my friends abroad. I have been to Canada, America, Norway, Germany, Switzerland and Turkey.
I am really thankful for my family and friends, and all we have in the church. I enjoy a very happy life and especially when I can help others and be obedient to God’s word.
