26 Bible verses to uphold you through the COVID-19 pandemic

As we live through this uncertain time of the COVID-19 pandemic we can turn to God’s word to find comfort.

In this unique time of the coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic, the temptation to fear and worry, anxiety and stress can be very close at hand. Between our health, our job stability, our finances, our isolation, and that of our loved ones, it may seem like there is every reason to live in uncertainty and fear. Here’s our opportunity to believe in and hold fast to God’s word. There are so many Bible verses about fear and worry that can give us comfort that we cannot find anywhere else.

Because the truth of the matter is that we have the greatest power in the universe on our side. We have the Almighty God, the Creator of the ends of the earth holding us in the palm of His hand! He will uphold us through it all, as long as we are trusting in Him. These Bible verses show that.

All of the following Bible verses can be weapons to fight off the temptation to fear and worry. Stand fast on these promises from the Lord and no situation will be able to cause you to come out of rest, no matter how much you are tempted.
