Work before the night falls

Work before the night falls

Light overcomes darkness, and love overcomes hate. We have to know where we stand and what we are fighting for.

The darkness of night is increasing, and whatever needs to be done has to be done while it is still day. We do not belong to the darkness or to the night. We are the children of the light and of the day.

We are members of the body of Christ where He is the head. Everything He wants to have said and done in these times is to be said and done with our bodies, which are offered up to do His will.

We must realize the responsibility we have in the battle against the powers of darkness. We must be conscious of our high and holy calling as children of the light and not doubt that we will overcome the evil. We must be radically separate from everything that has to do with darkness. We cannot but be victorious with the weapons of light. We must put on Christ and all His virtues in the battle against Satan and all satanic manifestations.

There are strong spirit-forces that proceed from Satan’s kingdom, and people are possessed by these evil spirits through all manner of brutality and savagery. Whatever is noble and good is vanishing, whereas evil and brutality are gaining power. The love that used to bind spouses together in faithfulness toward one another until death has almost disappeared. A satanic egotism that dissolves the homes without considering the sufferings of the children has gained power.

We must work more than ever before in the Spirit of Christ who gathers and unites everything that is noble and good—in the Spirit that has the power to overcome all influences from the evil powers.

The mighty Spirit that proceeds from the throne of God and the Lamb, which gives eternal peace and joy, cannot be overcome. Light overcomes darkness, and love overcomes hate. We have to know where we stand and what we are fighting for. Do we have fellowship with the powers of light or the powers of darkness? Are we wholehearted workers in the light against darkness?
